Our Story

Founded in 2008, Rockland County Haiti Relief was established in response to Haiti’s severe food crisis and the devastating impact of a series of tropical storms and hurricanes that caused widespread flooding. These natural disasters led to significant loss of life and displaced countless families from their homes.

Recognizing the urgent need for aid and the limited resources available from the Haitian government, a coalition of Haitian Americans living in New York came together to raise funds and provide support for Haiti. This collective effort marked the beginning of our mission to aid and uplift the Haitian community.

Over the past 15 years, our services have diversified to address various critical sectors within the Haitian community. Our initiatives span health, food security, agriculture, education, and more. We are dedicated to making a tangible impact in these areas, consistently striving to provide the necessary resources and support.

We take pride in the assistance we have offered to the Haitian community and are committed to continuing this vital work. We invite you to acknowledge our efforts and support us in any way you can. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those who need it most.
